Word leaking from his camp that he's struggling to shed down to 152.

They refused to confirm his weight at a public workout 2 weeks ago but yesterday evening he was apparently at 160 1/2 lbs with 48 hours to go till weigh in.

I've just watched All access, episode 4.

At the 7 day weigh in, which was obviously last Saturday, he weighed 157.4 pounds. It shows you him on the scale.

    Go to 11 mins.

    Thanks to Mick557.

Hopefully they won't be any problems.

I expect him to have problems. He'll eventually make weight because there's too much riding on it, but at what cost?

He was at 157 with 7 days to go. He said he was about 153 at the mgm arrivals.

    I wouldn't even call it a limit. It's the 152 lb Floyd-is-too-much-of-a-pu$$y-to-fight-Canelo-at-the-normal-weight-and-wouldn't-fight-Canelo-unless-he-added-a-*****-weight-purse-penalty-after-saying-he-still-considered-Cotto-an-undefeated-fighter-because-Pacquiao-drained-him-at-a-catch-weight-and-he-wasn't-at-his-best-and-that-was-why-Pacquiao-wasn't-as-good-as-Catch-because-Floyd-don't-drain-fighters-because-catchweights-are-meaningless limit.

He said he was 155 pounds yesterday and that he's just waiting for the day of the weigh in to lose the last couple of pounds

I reckon he'll come in slightly heavy and be given the extra 2 hours to shed the last few ounces which will add to the drama

me too. I think he'll be okay. he's had the deck stacked against him, and I believe he's in very good shape and is motivated to win. He just has to navigate the next 24+ hours smartly. Even if he weights 153 lb, he should just take the penalty and move on. If he happens to lose the weight and get down to 152 lb, then so be it. He can't let it unsettle his resolve. the most important thing is to make the 154 limit and come into fight night fresh and ready to go. Maybe not having DLH around now could help him focus. Mayweather did all this stuff to try to get into Canelo's head. Canelo has to realize that he has a chance of a lifetime here to dethrone the P4P champ. Whatever that scale says, he should just smile and say "ding ding ding" Floyd you gotta fight now. Don't let FMJ's scaredy pants tactics determine your destiny. Just relax Canelo, this is your time. You come in a pound over Floyd's limit, who cares, you'll still be a pound under the LMW limit. let Floyd get all stressed and carry on about it. After all it was his idea. DO what you do Canelo. Make 154, re-hydrate, re-energize and put a beating on Mayweather. If you come in at 153, whatev, let them ***** about it and show their true colors. If you come in at 152, whatev, make them look like money greedy thugs for even making a big deal out of it!

    Agree

Not having DLH around giving out the blue print to anyone that'll listen is a good thing.
