    did you read the article?

thats floyd maweather jr giving his opinion on what he thinks canelo currently weighs(160).

the fact is that canelo came in at 157 at the seven day weigh-in, two pounds lighter than he did for trout where he officially weighed in at 153 for the fight.

now, do you have any unbiased opinions from a sports or media outlet insinuating that canelo is having a problem making weight?

what do you not understand about floyd mayweather sr and jr not being an unbiased opinion?

Canelo puts on 20lbs overnight after a weigh in.

Now he has to drain a FURTHER 2lbs.

The fact that he puts on this much from the weigh in to the fight means he is DRAINED of bodily fluids

and for this CATCHWEIGHT fight he has to DRAIN even further.

This is a problem to do and it's an unfair advantage- a fighter is NOT COMFORTABLE in this situation and is DEHYDRATED

    ^^^

those are floyds own words nutthugger, I will believe him over you any day :hi::hi::hi::hi::hi::hi:

wait wait wait... wernt there doctors on episode 4 of all access checking to make sure canelo WAS NOT DRAINED TRYING TO MAKE WEIGHT? and they seemed very happy with him... soooooo im not sure what you are getting at?

and if you go on both fighters fight night weights for there last fights at that weight you have floyd at 152 for cotto on fight night vs 172 canelo for trout

you dont think 20lb advantage is an unfair advantage ? floyd giving us the fight we want to see but there needs to be give and take, there are weight divisions in boxing for a reason

lara, angulo and kirkland all weigh in on fight night at 174(canelo was at 172 for trout) in their last fights. canelo also weighed in at 153 for austin so, theoretically, he only has to lose one more pound.

and there has never been a mention of any of the aforementioned fighters being drained for their fights.

chavez, a notorious weight-cutter and diuretic user, recently weighed in at 158 for sergio. there was never a mention of the word drained after he lost.

hopkins weighed in at 156 for delhoya and there was never a mention of the word drained.

cotto weighed in at 145 for paq and there was never a mention of the word drained after he lost.

so you see, when you are throwing out capitilization and emoticons im throwing out precedents and facts.

and, subsequently, kicking you as-s in the process.

Funny, did you complain when Oscar made Floyd move up 7 pounds to challenge him?

Floyd is moving up to 152 and Canelo is dropping 2 pounds. Please keep your ignorance to yourself.

true, but floyd has now fought twice at 154 and had never asked either delahoya or cotto for a catchweight.

for the record, imo the catchweight will have nothing to do with the outcome as canelo has just fought five months ago at 153.

Mayweather actually asked for a CW when he fought De La Hoya. His request was denied.

    i worded this incorrectly.

mayweather did not fight either the delahoya nor the cotto fight at a catchweight.

i find it ridiculously hard to believe that floyd made concessions for another fighter...

its his way or the highway since ODLH

you're all ignoring the fact that canelo is growing all the while at 23....the 153 he made against trout will become fractionally harder to achieve month by month at his stage of physical development......put it this way...he'll have won world belts at light-heavy by the time he's done.

Apples and oranges. Floyd holds a title at 154. Floyd fought at 154 last year against Cotto. Floyd made a big deal in the build up to Cotto about how he don't drain fighters and how he fights fighters at the normal weight. He proven himself to be a hypocrite clear as day. He the Catchweight King. :good

canelo wont even win an ibc belt at 175.

canelo will have zero problems making 152-153 today. probably wont even go for the gatorade bottle once he steps off the scales.

you are about as dumb as a box of rocks.
