    Yes, he schooled him by running around the ring and not making a fight. Rigo would potshot and than run. Yes he avoided a lot of Donaire's punches but Donaire was the one making it a fight. What if Donaire was the one being pursued? Do you think it would have been a different fight? Why was it on Donaire to make it a fight?

    So why couldnt the more experienced, bigger & stronger fighter cut the ring and land some shots? If the smaller fighter is just a pot shotter than why couldnt the bigger fighter walk through his punches and walk him down?

    So you are saying Rigo ran? Thanks for agreeing with me. Again, why was it on Donaire to force the action?

    I remember I caught some criticism when I told people how bad Donaire's balance is, and how I don't consider him athletic. He looked clumsy as hell against Rigo, his right hand was useless as usual and he was just trying to load up with his left.

    I wouldn't dispute any of that. Rigo has better balance than Donaire, no doubt about it.

    man he ****ed donaire up did you see donaires face you ********? He rocked him and hurt 3 times and beat him up for the first 4 rounds then went on cruise control and made Donaire look like a sloppy amateur for the rest of the fight other than the 10th. that was a schooling 11-1, Donaire looked like a fool. Other than the 10th there wasn't one point int he fight Rigo was in any trouble, he had Donaire baffled and he attacked more than Donaire as evidenced by the punches thrown and landed by each, he made Donaire play his game, ring generalship at its finest.

    Yeah a lot of rounds were Rigo just pawed with his jab than ran to the other side of the ring. I didn't see Donaire get rocked. I saw him take some flush shots but he proved to have a good chin.

    Donaire has an excellent chin which is why after throwing bombs and exchanging for the early rounds rigo realized Donaire wasn't going anywhere so after building up a singificant lead he did the smart thing and made donaire chase him while he countered and still threw more than Donaire.:hi::hi:

    You're right it is HIT AND NOT GET HIT. Not RUN AND NOT GET HIT. Toney, Whitaker, Hopkins, Wright, etc they fight in a style of hitting and not getting hit without resorting to running.

    OP got it wrong. Rigo was precise and landed more than 50 percent pf his shots. Donaire was the one that missed waaaay more

    if he was running around the ring throwing nothing

    then donaire would have cornered him and forced the fight on him..

    so take your choices

    *rigo has AMAZING FOOTWORK

    *donaire cant cut off the ring

    *or rigo was popping him enough to think twice about coming in

    id say its a combination of the 3..

    dead set i dont want to call you an idiot but your post really shows you know nothing about boxing

    im not sure who was expecting a rios alvarado type war in the lead up to this fight?

    donaire has 1 punch power yet has trouble with boxers who wont engage on him

    and rigo has been shaken a few times by average punchers


    to ask rigo to go toe to toe would have been suicide.. HE FOUGHT SMART
