Crazy lot of shake up in the p4p lately. And next week may see a new #1. Chocolito gone from top 10. SSR after that performance has to be top 5. He demolished a guy many felt should still be one or at least in top 4.
He's not the type of fighter that is pound for pound material. He is still fairly crude. He was bigger, than Chocolatito, and could take his power, so he didn't have much to worry about. Now if he steamrolls, Inoue, then I'd have to put him in the top 10.
Not really, Cuadras jumped at the chance to end the match, Sor Rungvisai hurt him badly to the body and was starting to get to him, as a fan of Cuadras, I don't think he'd have made it to the en of the match, he was falling apart badly, and he lucked out with the cut.
No, the Thai is not #1, damn, he just beat Gonzalez, Cuadras beat Gonzalez, the Thai will win his next fight also.................
You beat the top 10 p4p fighter doesn't mean you will be put into the top 10 p4p automatically or taken his place immediately. The Thai fighter will have to prove himself more and more.
P4P is such a fuzzy, meaningless term. More and more I'm starting to think it's just based on how a fighter looks in the ring, as opposed to the actual results he achieves. Crude fighters with killer resumes are notorious for their absence. Flash n' dazzle guys the opposite.
choco clearly wasn't himself since moving up in weight and he admitted that as such before this rematch i want to see rungvisai take on estrada / cuadras or even inoue if inoue feels he is ready ( i think he is personally )
