Torrecampo, Singsurat, and Marquez didn't run; look what happened there, boxing_master. Why would you want this for Pacquiao? Why!?

"I want guys to stand right in front of Pacquiao to make it easier for him" - boxing_master. Just be up front about it.

It used to be looked down upon by the entire boxing industry until boxing's cash cow happened to de a defensive back peddling fighter...

In every era prior to this one you couldn't get away with using mostly defense to win fights.... look how Oscar was punished for pot-shotting the last couple rounds against Trinidad... his stick and move style for rounds 10, 11, 12 was heavily criticized but it was as much as Lara and Mayweather do in many of their fights.

Once Mayweather retires and stops generating the big dollars for boxing, it will go back to it's traditional format of rewarding offense over defense.

They probably should, unless the jab causes damage. This isn't the amateurs where you earn points by touching your opponents face, this is prize fighting where you're expected to hurt your opponents.

For Amateurs its ok but in the pros its looked down upon and it should not be rewarded

some of these runners today think they can fight like how they fought in the armatures and still get rewarded its really a pathetic state that we are in
