Tomorrow morning I am running the high school stadium stairs. I will probably switch back and forth from running to hopping. Do you have any tips or suggestions while working on the stairs? I will be doing it for 45 minutes….. The afternoon workout will be sparring followed by conditioning afterwards. Or I will be doing a full conditioning workout only.
Just make sure you are warmed up and stretched before you start. It will put a lot of stress on your knees. If you have good knees it probably wont bother you. If youve had knee problems before it could bother them.
We do a few different drills on the stairs that I like. One is to go up two steps and back down one, then up two and down one....as fast as you can. Run up sideways, crossing over your feet. Start with left foot first, next set turn the other way. Be sure to stretch really well afterwards, stairs can be really tough on your legs.

we also do **** like jogging, sprints, bunny hops, carrying other guys different ways(piggy back, Over shoulder, etc) and abunch of other thing. all up stadium steps
