Floyd is too big, too strong and believe it or not, too good.

Last time I checked Provodnikov was a man that lost to Bradley and beat Alvarado. Isn't Alvarado the man that lost to a C class Brandon Rios by Knockout?!!!

The "Mayweather is invincible" train of thought really does goes too far on this board. He is seen as an untouchable God amongst his worshipers. The man is 36 years old and age will inevitably bring down his primary asset - his reflexes. Provodnikov is 7 years younger and he fights with a hunger and aggression that is a throwback to the old days. If they were to fight there is absolutely no doubt that Provodnikov would be the hardest puncher Floyd ever fought, on top of that Provodnikov is extremely adept at cutting off the ring due to years of sparring against one of the trickiest boxers on the planet in Pacquiao. No doubt that Mayweather at this age would receive a serious one sided beating, he just does not have the power to back Provodnikov down, instead Provodnikov would walk him down while taking his punches with that evil grin on his face and proceed to brutalize the old man. A Mayweather from 7-8 years VS Provodnikov, THAT would however be an interesting match-up.

Floyd is cut from a different cloth than Prod.

Prod beat Bradley up worse than Pac did, (so what) and Prod can't hold a candle to Pac.

Pac would beat Prod's ass up and probably put him in the morgue if he came at him. Floyd would just lump and humiliate his ass.
