He has no ambition whatsoever. He stole the belt from Valuev and is doing the bare minimum to hang onto it and milk it for all it's worth.

He needs 2 pull his head out of his ass! He's 2@ a prime age for boxing. I heard @ 1 time he had Kenny Adams training him.

Never heard of drumond. Looks like he has beat some of the standard journeymen such as sedrick fields, kelvin davis, he cant be a total can.

I think this is a good enough comeback figth for Ruslan, WBA title on the line. Ruslan has all the tools to be very effective. Good chin, toughness, good combination puncher and a good work rate. I think hsi work rate has been inconsistent. I always thought of him as a better Ibragimov.

He has only been out a year, with a severe injury. He is prime fighting age and his last bouts before drummond were as good as anyone else in the HW division. he is definitely tougher than Wlad, im not saying he would beat Wlad but he is IMO (Vitali excluded) the 2nd best heavy. I dont count Vitali because he cant possibly fight on much longer.

I don't know anything about Drummond except his high KO ratio. We'll see how Chagaev does, it's good to see him back.

WOULD being the operative word here.

talented and smart but he can't stay healthy. he is also going blind by many accounts. he doesn't deny it either.

btw, wlad would box circles around chagaev cause he has no power right hand and wlad's movement would exploit that

Well, If Chagaev has been so unproductive, I'm really hoping Carl Davis beats him in great fashion. Its time to give future shots to hungry boxers, not lazy ones.

If Wlad went the distance with Ibragimov, I highly doubt Chagaev would destroy him.

I think Ibragimov would probably give Chagaev all he could handle, if not even beat him on points.

Peter would probably beat Chagaev via TKO late, and Eddie Chambers would probably take Chagaev the distance in a very close fight that I think Chagaev would win, via decision, maybe.........

I do see Chagaev clearly beating Arreola, though. So one outta three ain't bad, I don't guess.
