On the Balzsay/Sartison undercard this Saturday.
Has Chagaev got any intention of making it back to the top level? Zumbrun is 39 y/o and 25-12-1. He's been beaten recently by the likes of Mike Mollo and Maurice Harris. What's the point of this fight? It's not like Chagaev has time on his hands..

Juan Carlos Gomez is also on the card. I reckon these two should be fighting each other in a last chance saloon contest.:think

I think the whole point behind this fight is for Chagaev to rebuild confidence, to continue to fine tune his game, and to put together a winning streak to impress the alphabets and ensure another mandatory challenger's spot.

I agree that it would be nice to see Chagaev in major fight, or in an eliminator against another final-stage fighter like Gomez. But until those bigger fights get made, tune ups are okay for Chagaev and Gomez.

I get that, but it's not like either fighter has time on their hands.
