Chagaev is thrusting out hard with right jabs and pinning them to Manswell's grill like a paper tail on the paper ass of a paper ass. Straight lefts scoring for Chagaev as well. Manswell is reacting very badly every time Chagaev opens up, just moving backward in straight lines instinctively to flee the pain. No countering, no blocking, no attempts to slip with head movement. Just running straight back and continuing to get hit while tucking his chin. A few body shots by Manswell. Chagaev punishes him with some more straight shots to the face. Chagaev is using slow, plodding, but effective (well-placed) footwork to always be in position to land his jabs and straight or looping lefts to the head of Manswell. Very little work to the body.

Round 6

Manswell's trainer is SCREECHING for body shots. Manswell is not inclined to oblige him, as he clearly wants no part of Chagaev. When the issue is forced and Chagaev zeroes in on him with big left hands over the top, Manswell reluctantly dips over to one side and launches a right uppercut below the ribs. He scores but backs off. Chagaev has more lefts loaded up in that cannon. Plenty of ammunition. Chagaev doesn't look the least bit tired, as he's kept a pretty deliberate pace. BIG LEFT HANDS TO THE FACE!! Manswell is rocked back to a corner. Chagaev is absolutely flattening his face with those powerful lefts. Now Chagaev has Manswell sliding up a set of ropes, and plays knick-knack on his forehead with a few forceful right jabs before swinging the left hand back around for more damaging rifle-cracks. HUGE left by Chagaev at the end of the round as Manswell leans against the ropes and covers up, and a flurry.

Long break. That was like two minutes between rounds!! Delay in Manswell's corner.

atsch Then time out is called not five seconds into the round!! More nonsense from Manswell's corner! Stalling!

 

Round 7

Chagaev is slowing even further now, but still bothering Manswell with enough right jabs and intermittent crosssbow-bolt lefts to keep him retreating and rolling himself up into a much smaller figure than his 6'4" with properly aligned posture. Manswell's corner keeps repeating the same things, "Do the body, do the body, do the body!!", "Box his ass, box his ass, box his ass!" and "1-2! 1-2! 1-2!". Manswell is obeying literally none of that advice. Chagaev keeps smacking him around the ring with both hands, taking his time and bludgeoning Manswell with workmanlike persistence.
