Funeka given a count late in the fourth. Glove touched canvas after wincing from a body jab. He displays his contempt for the ref's judgment, which just causes the official to extend his count several additional seconds after the impatient Funeka has clearly proven he's ready to continue.
Beterbiev on Wilder-Povetkin undercard would be good. Jesus Kadyrov has a big couch and a food table for this event
Rabbit punch. Funeka turns his back on Murzabekov. The ref waves it off, deeming that Funeka has quit. TKO5.
Movsur Yusupov vs. Karama Nyilawila is next. How do I know that? Onscreen graphic. It was in Cyrillic and I don't speak Russian, but I do have excellent visual cognitive acuity, so was able to match the vague shapes of the symbols against the corresponding names in the Roman alphabet on the event's BoxRec page. That's right, you can say it, you one bad nigga, IB.
Really? I came in belatedly and missed the intros (and they weren't putting up any graphics mid-round to display names and trunk colors) so I just saw a tall lanky black dude and guessed. :yep ...but did then due a bit of follow-up diligence, typing Viskhan Murzabekov into Google Image search and verifying the face that popped up did very closely resemble the shorter white guy in the ring. :conf He and Baysurov could be twins. My bad! Anyway, that's a relief, would suck to see Ali quit like that, even shot to bits and way above his prime weight. (though he was a freakishly big lightweight)
Nyilawila is nicknamed "After Bell". :blood How did he get that? I can't remember too many guys fashioning their moniker after the name of a foul. ...although Bobby "Blow-Blow" Pacquiao would've been perfect...
Remaning fights until Spong - Gigoshvilli Yusupov - Nyilawila Davtaev - Gorgiladze Salamov - Vegas - IBO title lol Ustrakhanov - Mashali
the man makes no sense really adapts sharia law ,supposed to be strictly religious but splashes the cash and is the fanciest man around
Musupov has a tree-trunk chest but relatively skinny legs for his frame, and his style alternates between a Winky impression (squared up and slowly plodding & jabbing in behind a southpaw turtle shell, then pushing through a strong left hand and putting his broad back into it when in range) and a more aggressive mode leaning in with a triple right hook going head-body-head with his left drilling the body in between, leaving himself open defensively once he senses that Nyilawila is too scared to counter. A hint of Wladimir Klitschko too, in terms of leaving his right jab suspended in the air to prod & create a barrier, then swirling it to ricochet Nyilawila's few light left jabs away.
