Ruslan Provodnikov-Antonio DeMarco in play for June 14

    Provodnikov is promoted by Artie Pelullo, and DeMarco by Top Rank CEO Bob Arum in association with Mexican promoter Fernando Beltran.

    "Arum and I are working together on making Provodnikov and DeMarco, and the date that we're looking at is June 14. We're trying to figure out what venue to go to, and we want to fight DeMarco," said Pelullo, of Banner Promotions.

    "So that's what we're working on right now. I think that DeMarco is going to make a fight of it, and he's going to come right at Ruslan. The kind of style that he has is going to make Ruslan look like a star."

    DeMarco is made to order for Provo- who, for the record feel is getting slightly overrated on here.

    Provodnikov is one of the most avoided boxer today because of his punching power, If he beats any of the top guys @ 140 like Garcia, Matthysse etc.. I will give him credit.

    I give him credit, just saying he's get a bit overrated on here. Beating Alvarado isn't that impressive, and Bradley made that fight hard for himself with the way he fought.


    People go on about a Pacquiao fight but he doesn't get much more done against Pac than Rios did.

    I do agree he does get over rated in this site but at the moment a fight with DeMarco is not a good fight but would love to see Provodnikov in there with the top guys @ 140.

    Provodnikov almost ended Bradley's career. He was cheated out of, at least one knock down, left Bradley on the canvas at the end of the fight. Bradley had some brain damage as well............................

    yeah Bradley took a lot of punishment in the Provodnikov fight, I wonder how he will react once Pacquiao lands that straight left.

    Both has something to prove in this fight as Pacquiao was only fighting 30 seconds on the last 4 rounds or so.

    Bradley will try and win this fight to prove that the first fight was not a ''fluke''

    if i could choose 1 fighter not to fight, it would be ruslan, the guy is an absolute beast. iron chin if ever i saw one. most mentally tough fighter in the sport.

    I would've liked to see Provod vs Marquez but JMM is ducking the fight. JMM is choosing to fight Alvarado instead :-(
