Ruslan Provodnikov is Overrated, will be exposed Soon

I felt that he could have gotten the nod against Herrera.
Old man Corley bloodied him and i thought Provodnikov could have been given a loss that no one would have complained about.

Then he managed to drag Bradley into a brutal war. He deserves mad props for that but he still lost. Well i had it a draw.

I thought Alvarado would get the UD but Provo proved(like he did against Herrera) that he is not one punch wonder.

A good fighter but still limited and a destruction of Alvarado does not make you a world champ even if you hold a belt. Alvarado only has two good wins. A KO over Prescott(Alvarado was behind on points by a wide margin) and a decision win over Herrera.

And then there is Freddie Roach. Roach will in all likelihood bring out the best in Ruslan but at the end of the day he is still a wild brawler and a good boxer will beat him.

any combination would be a great fight

 

Mannys body guard already got beat up by Herrara but hes a good fighter

Even the Floyd of the Maidana fight would school Provodnikov.

 

Provo is a hard nosed entertaining fighter who deserves plenty of the hype being thrown his way....that being said he has several flaws that will cost him once he steps up in comp. part of the allure for me is knowing he's going to give me a blood and guys effort and the day he gets taken out will surely be a candidate for foty

 

How is he hyped when he would destroy most of the GBP hype jobs like Danny Garcia, Pederson, Lucas, and Broner?

 

I'm not sure that he's overrated. Everyone knows what he is. He can be outboxed by the top shelf boxers. He's got power and stamina, but not much in the defense department. He's improving, though. He probably beats a lot of guys in the current crop at 140. At WW where there are a lot of boxers and mobile guys, he'd have more of a problem.
