    The running order for tonight:

    Sean Monaghan vs. Elvir Muriqi, 10 rounds @ light heavyweight (this will start at 10pm EST, while HBO is replaying Miguel Cotto vs. Sergio Martinez, and will only be seen on the live international feeds)

    Demetrius Andrade vs. Brian Rose, 12 rounds @ light middleweight (this will be the first live bout shown on HBO, after the Cotto vs. Martinez replay)

    Ruslan Provodnikov vs. Chris Algieri, 12 rounds @ welterweight

    What time is Demetrius Andrade on IB? Hopefully he hets a KO win after Rose getting the shot from an unfair victory over Maciel.

    What is this Algeri like by the way could he cause Providnikov trouble?

    Fully agree, Maciel got screwed.

    It all may have worked out for the best, though, as he may eventually work his way back around to a title shot anyway, perhaps getting paid more in the long run than he would have tonight. He got some good exposure (more than he would on this card) and gained a lot of fans on the Cotto vs. Martinez PPV undercard in that Melendez battle which probably was FOTN.

    The Cotto vs. Martinez replay is good for a solid 40 minutes (with nine completed rounds of action to show) regardless of whatever happens in Monaghan vs. Muriqi - so ring walks for Andrade vs. Rose won't be until at least quarter of eleven pm EST.

    Personally i think a title shot is always preferable, he would have got decent exposure on HBO tonight along with a decent stylistic matchup as i think Andrade is susceptible to pressure and power.

    Andrade's fight against Martistroysan was really close. If I remember correctly Andrade started slow but picked up the pace.

    True, but entering as pretty much an unknown it was almost certain he would be robbed tonight if he didn't kayo Andrade (which I fully believe he could do, but he might not every time if they fought a dozen times so it wouldn't be a given on any night) - whereas, give him a little bit of extra momentum building off that Melendez victory, raise his profile a bit...maybe next time he is a little unlikelier to receive unfair treatment when he does get his shot? :think
