    Algieri can land 1000 punches but the 1 or 2 punches Provodnikov lands are the ones that really get the judges attention. 58-57 Provodnikov.

    Provodnikov is catching Algieri with high left hooks, disguised from below, thrown abruptly while Algieri is circling. 1-2s by Provodnikov tapping Algieri on the chin as the Algieri jab comes needling in on Provodnikov's eye socket. Algieri is hurt and sent scrambling by a body shot. Algieri's right eye is mashed. Left hook by Provodnikov misses.
