This would be a good fight but Thurman fcuks him up. Thurman can go to war and still move and box when he needs to. I see Thurman stopping him with a vicious body shot.
Thurman is definitely starting to silence the critics, he's fightin Soto-Karass on December 14th, expect him to win but will be explosive, Thurman beating Chaves won me over, Chaves was underrated going into that fight and would give any 147lber trouble.
I couldn't agree more. Chaves is a motherfcuker and will give anyone at 147 hell not named PBF. I can't wait to see more of him.
Not sure at this point. Thurman impressed me with how he dealt with adversity against Chaves, however, Chaves' pressure gave him problems, and Provo is a level above Chaves However, Thurman is a cut above Alvarado, and he hits a lot harder than Alvarado. Would be an interesting fight for sure. Not sure who I'd pick. BTW, Thurman will beat the **** outta Karass.
I was kinda hoping Eddie Hearn would make Kell Brook vs Diego Chaves in Sheffield, with Maciel fighting Rose could have been England vs Argentina promotion, obviously they have to give Kell Brook easy fights though so they got him Paulie's ***** Senchenko.
Brook got his ass beat in the last 5 rounds by Carson Jones the first time around, and Jones is shockingly limited, I'd fancy Chaves to stop Brook. Wonder who Chaves will return against next? would love to see him getting fights in the states like Maidana and Matthysse do, hopefully his effort against Thurman will lead to some more opportunities for him, heck in a few fights time I'd even like to see a rematch between Thurman-Chaves
Now this is a serious blockbuster. Keith Thurman would be put to the ultimate test, I think he'd go to war with Provo.
Awesome fight though because of Thurman's ability to adjust vs Chaves I'd give him the edge. Provo seems to force his game plan regardless of its success rate until it becomes the winning blue print...I admire that though its a formula that will eventually cause you your belt vs a puncher of Thurman's pedigree.
