    Round 5

Provodnikov comes forward with left hooks and right hands off a double jab. Herrera #2 is flashing his hands and actually scoring quite a lot on the wide-open face of Provodnikov. They lean into each other in the clinches, with neither able to get anything clean off with a free hand. Hard jab by Provodnikov backs Herrera #2 the **** up. Clubbing left hook from Provodnikov. Now a jab from Provodnikov, and a good right hand. Good uppercut from Herrera #2 on the inside. Provodnikov runs him down into the ropes but Herrera #2 stands his ground and gets a four punch combo off on Provodnikov's face - while taking one clean power punch himself.

It's been competitive, but 4-1 RP

I really like this fight, decent action between two guys who came to win. Does look like Herrera might be wilting just a tad, but he still bursts out here and there with some nice connections. Faces starting to swell.

    Really like Ruslan.

He fights well coming forward and seems to have a good chin. I'm not sure how far he'll go, but I will watch him along the way.

haha, cmon man, the guy seems like he had a little stage fright.

Yea that seems to happen with alot of the younger guys, still getting used to the mainstream spotlight. And educated or not, some people just arent good speaking, when being put on the spot.

RP starting to close the gap and land hard shots. I've said it before though, he really needs to work on using the jab more.

    Round 6

The two are just trading leather, with Herrera #2 showing a bit more defensive movement but still getting hit with bombs and still missing when Provodnikov leans and bobs or gets his gloves up. Herrera #2 throws a vicious three punch combo at Provodnikov's face and collapses on him, exhausted. Provodnikov wrestles him on the inside and smashes either side of his head with a chopping right and a short hook. They plug away on the inside until broken up, and Provodnikov gives chase - walking facefirst into an uppercut. Provodnikov keeps working his hands as Herrera tries to push away.

    Round 7

Provodnikov takes small steps forward, and patiently looks to plant hard straight punches on Herrera #2. Provodnikov is getting lit up as he advances jabless, but does whack Herrera #2 with a nasty left hook that buckles his legs. They clinch up and Herrera #2 taps Provodnikov on the head while holding it down with his left. Herrera #2 has a huge mouse under his left eye. Provodnikov feints with a hook and windmills his right hand after it like a starving alley cat.

    Round 8

Provodnikov is using his jab now, doubling and tripling it as Herrera #2 tries to curl into a ball and skirt along the ropes with his nose bloodied and his eyes swollen. Herrera #2 takes a stand and lobs several punches at Provodnikov before diving in to take a breather in a clinch. Provodnikov just walks after him and slaps out with either fist trying to pin him down for a more serious attack. Provodnikov is clipping the back and neck of Herrera quite a bit as the latter ducks down.
