For some reason, he reminds me of Hearns Jr. I don't know why.

Andrade has to stop him to impress... a ud just doesn't cut it against an opponent like this
    but without the running! :D

    Round 6

Andrade shimmies and pops Herrera #1 with right jabs, left crosses to the chest, and right hooks around the side to redden Herrera's left ear. Herrera #1 pins his forearms to his cheeks and comes forward, pawing with a left jab and catching Andrade unsuspecting with one. Andrade lobs a few underhand shots to the body and then covers up as Herrera whips around with some flanking body shots of his own. Herrera #1 is really letting his hands go and trying to boss Andrade. Double jab from Andrade keeps Herrera #1 frozen in place after the clap.

    Herrera's best round, but 60-54

I think that's the round the judges award Herrera. Although, I see it your way.

    Round 7

Andrade extends both arms in turn and taps Herrera, not driving any real leg power into his punches. Herrera #1 isn't showing any respect for these taps and is taking large wide steps inside to try and catch Andrade with a jab or right hand on the way in before the clinch. Herrera #1 double jabs whenever Andrade drops the glove protecting his chin but can't get his feet to put him in position to land before Andrade has tiptoed away. They slug away in the pocket, with Herrera just leaning on Andrade and forcing him to fight. Andrade gets some space and has a long left hand blocked and Herrera comes right back at him with a flurry.

    10-9 Herrera

    69-64 Andrade

Andrade's corner tells him to play it safe on the outside in Round 8.

    Round 8

Herrera shows up in Andrade's face and draws him into a heated exchange. Andrade is slapping and moving but doesn't catch Herrera #1 with anything significant. Andrade loops up a quick 2-fisted uppercut attack to the body but goes right back to slap-happy headhunting. Herrera walks his way into a clinch and whacks Andrade with his free right hand on the side of the head. They stand toe to toe again and Andrade leans his chest into Herrera's face, smothering him - but Herrera reaches up and smacks him with a short left hook. Andrade keeps pumping his right jab but is just churning the air in front of Herrera. They come together in another grueling, hard-knock clinch.

He didn't exactly follow his corner's advice...at least not for the full three minutes.

    Title

Also - it seems we are watching on delay. They chose not to make all the people at the Cox Pavilion wait on us because of the stupid football.

The result was on Boxrec already a few minutes ago.

That result, of course has now been revealed "live" on ESPN2 to be a unanimous decision win for Andrade. He only lost one point (on one judges' card). It still isn't a terribly impressive win, all things considered.

Andrade looks so unimpressive for someone with his amateur pedigree.
