they were NOT all landing on loma['s gloves...look at loma's face around the 6th round...he's lumped up. what happens is sometimes guys are watching the fights with their buddies and they're drinking and talking and not giving the fight their undivided attention... so, it's easy for the announcers to tell them what's happening in the ring so they feel they're following the fight. if there's no announcers, a lotta times, they wouldn't know whats' really going on...this happens after every single fight where you have people coming to this forum and the fightnews forum repeating verbatim the exact same sh9t the tv announcers told them during the broadcast.

to me that's one of the most frustrating things about fight fans, is they will repeat some SH1T just because they heard malignaggi or bernstein or lampley say it over and over again!

Brian kenny watched this fight and he said he saw it a draw too...so did I and so did one of the judges...maybe, just maybe it's possible that what the showtime team were tellling you about loma landing all his shots and GRJ hitting the air and loma's arms only was not exactly true?

    1. Loma's face is fine on photos with the belt, no marks on it. Why do you make things up?
    2. Then there is a suggestion to you to "maybe, just maybe" pay undivided attention and re-watch the fight? There is clearly something wrong with your understanding of boxing and how it should be scored.
    3. On a weight thing, you got owned, so just admit it without further speculation. You speculate way too much.

I didn't see grj land a single clean effective power shot.
He was coming up 3/4" short with everything he threw. Lomo won by a landslide.
2 totally different levels of fighters.

ShowTime weighed both fighters obviously not official scales.

Russell is short but he has even talked about moving up to 130 lbs in the past.

lol...y'all are killin me here. acting like loma didn't take one clean shot all night long. this is so bogus...i personally saw loma get hit repeatedly with hard shots and even the announcers occaisionally made mention of some of the counters GRJ was hitting him with...yeah russell did miss a lotta punches and he did hit loma on the arms a lot, but he alson landed many clean hard shots as some of the reporters indicated. loma's face was lumped up... i don't need to make that sh8t up...i saw it with my own eyes...

and as far as the weight thing, I noticed it, the same announcers you're parroting mentioned the size difference several times and some of the reports from the fight indicated there was a noticeable size difference. this is not some sh8t i pulled outta thin air..all i asked was "how is the fight night weigh-in done?" and for that i get called a troll...well, if that's how it is...

    1. You want facts? Watch the pics, they are all over the internet. There you can see his face, unmarked. Who are you trying to fool? - only yourself. GRJ did land one punch, I remember it was at the end of some mid round, but other than that it was mit-work on Loma's arms and gloves. Rewatch.

    2. Who gives a f..ck about the size if the weight is the same? To follow you logic, GRJ has heavier bones and thus should hit harder, if they weigh the same but he is smaller. Or GRJ has more fat % and less muscles and should not fight at this weight. Get your thoughts straightened, you seem a bit fatigued when being cornered.
