Which nation wears the crown at heavyweight .. Russia or Ukraine ???

    Some potential match's ...

    Ibragimov vs Wlad

Maskaev vs Vitali (Bidenko as late sub if Vitali doenst make it through camp!!)

    Valuev vs Dimitrenko

    Povetkin vs Virchis

    Boytsov vs Platov

Now, that would be a good heavyweight card !!

How about throwing a Team USA into the mix ??!!!

    Thompson
    Briggs
    Chambers
    Rahman
    McCall

    .. what a bunch of misfits !!!

My mistake, meant to put Ibragimov .... who technically isnt Russian either, but parading himself as one. As Maskaev, but you get the point.

The Russians would poison the Ukrainians to try to win, and the Ukrainians would miss the bus to the arena.....

Its payback time motherf***ers...Im only joking. But Ukrainians would win this one:

    Wlad KO 6 Ibragimov

Vitali KO 6 Maskaev, Bidenko UD over Maskaev

    Dimitrenko UD over Valuev

    Virchis KO 10 Povetkin

    Platov KO 5 Boytsov

    5-0 Ukraine:Russia

Interesting thread! I'd give Ukraine the edge over Russia too. But I think you should change the matchups:
Dimitrenko vs Povetkin and Virchis vs Valuev would be better IMO.

I actually would have Povetkin over both Virchis and Dimitrenko.

Sultan wont go the full route with Wlad.Wlad by late stoppage.
Valuev vs Dimitrenko? Could go either way.I for my part tend to think that Dimitrenko has the better jab so that he would probably win a close point decision.
Povetkin vs Virchis? Easy pick! Povetkin by either a wide point decision or a stoppage victory.
Virchis is no match for the Russian masterboxer.Of course the huge Ukranian has puncher's chance against any present fellow heavy.
Boytsov vs Platov? Difficult pick! At this point of their career Platov must be favoured over the young Russian. All the same I would bet my money on Boytsov.

Povetkin is just 100 times technically better than Virchis, and I beleive would be able to avoid Virchis landing clean.

If Virchis lands clean, he can Ko anybody.

    Ibragimov KO
    Vitali KO
    Valuev KO
    Virchis KO or Povetkin UD
Platov wins....Boytsov will never step up
