I think it sounded to me русские вперед

    Which means Russians go forward

I don't know what to make of this but sounds to me patriotic chant
but the problem with patriotism is lot of nationalist pretend to be patriots which is the covermask

    I don't like it anyway

At the end of the fight they started chanting "Sasha Povetkin", some other chants Ive heard were "nam nuzhna zevodna pobeda", which tratranslates into we need a victory today, "rus" isan abbreviation for Russia, and "ruskiye vperyod" is Russians forward like dandur wrote as well.

Why are the usual suspects not crying wacism for such blatant nationalistic partisan behavior?

Nah, it's a bunch of clapping, then they say something that sounds like "who"

if you watch the fight on youtube they do it for the first minute of the fight.

Not Russian or anything just think it's a intimidating chant, it's dope I always wondered what they are saying.

It means Russian if I'm correct. Like "Go Russian!" or something like that.

    It's either Russian or Russia.

Thanks, yeah I was talking about the "rus" one. That's a pretty bad chant. It's like a gladiator chant or something haha.

The one with the drum beat, right? Yeah it sounds like they chant 'Rus'

Pretty sick chant, way better than 'USA USA'

Those chants create an energy. It is better than just making some noise.

It was a very solid event. It is unusual lately for most of the events have or two good fights in lower weight division.
