Rosales is throwing a lot of light arm-punches now, still with plenty of coal in the engine room but not able to consistently land with mustard, full-power. Higa too is starting to slug out lumpier shots, dragging more wind. Both giving their all though. Huge edge in volume for Rosales. Higa loading up on big shots and throwing his full weight behind them, mostly downstairs. Rosales is lining up jabs between the eyes, backing Higa up and pumping 1-2-1-2s at him to drive him into the ropes.

Rosales is keeping it a civilized fencing contest at mid-range, jabbing Higa in the face until HUGE melees are initiated by Higa jumping in with kamikaze hooking attacks. Rosales is hooking with him. Each is rocking the other by turn. Rosales is getting the best of it during the "quieter" moments as he keeps the jabs and straight combos fixed on target, while the scrappy inside stuff is about 50-50. Higa forcing the action, throwing with all his might, and yet his head is being snapped back by Rosales' short hooks in each one.
