I mean yeah fine but the fact is Higa wasn't exactly avoiding punishment in the meantime and had been eating shots like Pez all day, increasingly more so as he sold out with his desperate (and slowing, as he was the visibly more gassed) attacks leaving himself open and getting countered even worse. His corner was correct to be concerned IMO.

 

Eh, not with knowing the full context probably. Struggling with the weight and only rehydrating six pounds, and then looking increasingly ragged against a durable heavy-handed guy over nearly nine rounds, not winning a clear one among them, getting dominated in a few, head snapping back every couple of minutes...

 

Hmm, dilemma, I now have the option to watch the main event on a much bigger (and HD) screen on ESPN2...but Japanese commercials are so much more entertaining than ours, and the girl on the ringside analysts' panel is cute, and I kind of want to get my "money's worth" of my free day trial on Fuji TV player having just used my current primary email account for it because I can't remember the passwords to any more superfluous ones. (will have to make some new dummies soon)

Yeah, numbers bear that out, don't think we've seen a more than 8/1 underdog make good yet in 2018.
