    Round 3

Yaegashi completely shutting Mthalane down with the hyper-active jab. Mthalane unable to get near enough with his favored straight punches, even with his reach advantage, due to Yaegashi's lateral movement, so instead he starts whipping looping rights around in anticipation of where he thinks Yaegashi will end up when he's moving clockwise, bashing him on the flanks or neck, and sometimes caught on the raised left bicep of Yaegashi. Cat and mouse game here, Yaegashi successfully point-scoring as the mouse without getting eaten.

    10-9 Yaegashi

    30-27 Yaegashi

    Round 4

Yaegashi walks Mthalane onto a nice counter uppercut, but even as it lands solidly he is forced to flee as Mthalane keeps driving forward, throwing straight rights and then pecking in with jabs or slapping with hooks across the face as he gets closer. Yaegashi hops in and unloads with a series of hard, quick shoveling body shots and then leaps halfway out of the pocket, but still within range, baiting Mthalane with jabs and then leaning slightly to his side to dodge, parrying a few blows with his gloves as well, and countering with big overhand rights between the guard. Mthalane claps Yaegashi with a right hand as he's circling in close, and then swipes him across the chest with an uppercut.

    10-9 Yaegashi

    40-36 Yaegashi

Akira is winning the fight so far, though I expect Moruti to get better with each round.

    Round 5

Mthalane scores a stiff jab stepping in. Yaegashi shoeshines and uppercuts into the midsection, revving up with over a dozen shots before they melt together in a brief clinch. Yaegashi outworking Mthalane, by a lot. Yaegashi gets ripped with a 1-2 and then strapped behind the left ear with a couple of rights from above while bent forward at the waist. Yaegashi dives in and leads with a line drive right. Mthalane starts blocking it and then firing his 1-2, ducked by Yaegashi but still grazing.

    10-9 Yaegashi, close
