    Yaegashi skips around to his right, giving Mthalane a wide berth. Yaegashi bends his knees and ropes out a jab on the belly, not planting his feet for longer than absolutely necessary. Mthalane using lots of body feints, tilting side to side like a teeter-totter to keep Yaegashi guessing where he's going to shoot from, and using pump-fake steps halfway in with his lead foot. Mthalane with nicely timed right hands catching Yaegashi high on the skull. Yaegashi gets brave, landing combos off a set-up body jab, and Mthalane hurts him with a clean right followed by several more shots. Yaegashi under fire but throwing back and moving, ref moves in and hugs Yaegashi as the bell rings??? WTF???

    Mthalane's résumé is just stupid good. Shame people who didn't tune in will look at this victory on paper and think "oh...Yaegashi? He's shot. Whatever..." and not realize the old dog actually managed a brilliant, vintage performance...if only for half the scheduled distance. :ohno

    Result seemed inevitable once I saw round 3. Yaegashi did better longer than I thought.

    Yaegashi - among the most entertaining fighters of the decade!

    Mthalane - my vote for most underrated fighter of the decade!
