Povetkin was declared not guilty, and it was found that he did not take meldonium after its official prohibition that started January 1, 2016.
Wilder had begged the WBC to cancel the mandatory fight, VADA cleared Povetkin, but Haymon's WBC cancelled the fight as requested by Wilder and Haymon, Wilder was on his way home before the decision. Wilder lied about Povetkin, so did many boxing fans, called him a cheater, well, he was cleared! Povetkin was Wilder's mandatory but was not allowed to fight him because of a lie! An excuse......................Povetkin should get the mandatory, this would force Wilder to fight Joshua perhaps?! Wilder is afraid of both Povetkin and Joshua...............Wilder will be fighting Breazeale next, Breazeale is owned by Haymon, would be willing to take a dive if needed, Breazeale can't fight at all, Joshua has already knocked Breazeale out! So, Wilder picked Breazeale........................Wilder will not fight Joshua for any amount of money! Once again: Povetkin was declared not guilty, and it was found that he did not take meldonium after its official prohibition that started January 1, 2016.

It won't matter the usual suspects will still claim he was dirty.

Glad it seems to have been cleared up.

It wont stop everyone from calling him Pedvetkin, and it wont stop people from accusing him of being on PEDs.

Wilder clearly didnt fancy it. If AJ put his lapdog left overs in front of Povetkin, to avoid the fight, then he deserves criticism too.

I’m of the impression the money never left a frozen account anyway.

So it’s more of Wilder not receiving the payment than him having a debt on his head.
