Wilder is afraid to fight in Russia where the fight would take place. It won't be a big money fight in the USA. So it is a no win situation for Bambi. He must avoid at any cost. There is enough fatty to fight on NBC or whatever.

    Who eats that junk food?

At number 1. Bambi is very suspicious compare to Povetkin who has been the same for as long as I remember him. He has never fought at 91.

Wilder is suspicious? ha he is very slim for his height.

Why has Mr 'role model, classy guy' Wlad NEVER asked for random testing as a champ? He is the one you should be suspicious of.

It looks like Wilder's team is going to flat out ignore Povetkin after their next fights and beg K2 for a cashing-out fight.

    1) It seems that Haymon doesn't have high enough budget to host Wilder-Povetkin is the USA. They are trying to get Povetkin in the US for low money and obviously the Russian promoters are not going to agree to that.

    2) It is a low possibility that Haymon is able to outbid the Russians on the purse bids. Haymon has never bid anywhere close to even 15mil for any of his fighters. Even the top earners of the PBC stable don't come remotely close to that money.

    3) With that being said, it's very possible that Haymon will try to delay the fight as long as possible (getting WBC to allow various extensions etc). There are bunch of tricks that can be used in such situation, so some sudden "injuries" from their side are not impossible.

    4) The least scenario would be flat out ignoring the mandatory and doing everything possible to arrange the cash-out fight against Klitschko. I wouldn't expect K2 to be too kind to Wilder's team during the negotiations in that case and they really shouldn't.

Still no idea what was Wilder thinking while saying "I'm in the driver seat for the Wlad fight".

I'm just stubborn and am holding out for Wilder vs. Dustin Nichols 2. What a barn burner.

If he flat out ignores a guy Wlad knocked out to unify the titles, win or lose that's a braver proposition.

And if you're right and it's a "cash out" proposition, fighting Povetkin is worth more money as he gets 70-75 percent of the purse bid as the champion.

In short, your post makes no sense either way.

Povetkin in his current form shatters Wilders glass dome in under 4 rounds. He deserves his opportunity fight for the belt.

Wilder is wearing the belt after facing absolutely nobody. Bum

Wilder has already stated that he wants a very strict drug testing protocol for the fight.

If Wilder is scared to fight this fat boy, he should dump his belt and retire.

Hope Povetkins team win the pursebid. Wilder would soil his pants if he were to walk into the ring right over the Kremlin square with 50,000 hostile fans booing him in Moscow.

American still pay medical bills right? So...$16,000,000 might be the medical expenses Wilder pays after Povetkin destroys him

Everyone in the world pays medical bills.

Some just pay it at source, and some pay it in advance

Fine let me reword it...Americans still pay for their medicine whilst their in hospital and pay depending on their injuries et al, rather than pay via a national insurance style system...?
