The WBA regular "title" is just a ridiculous money making trinket .

He's fighting Gassiev for 'super' belt which Lebedev already has!
Yes WBA is that ******ed, but it's not the first time it happened.

Back in 2013 Floyd and Canelo were BOTH WBA SUPER champs at 154 :loel:

Well... at one point they did have 4 champs at 126. I think Chris John was the Super champ, Gamboa was the UNIFIED CHAMP.... and then there was a interim champ and a regular champ.
Gamboa vacated the IBF belt and the WBA stripped him.

Cruiserweights Ryad Merhy, 24-0 and reigning WBA Intercontinental champion, and Arsen Goulamirian, 22-0, clash for the vacant WBA interim-title March 29 at the Palais des Sports in Marseille (France). The fight is promoted by Univent headed by Sebastien Acaries. Yunier Dorticos holds the WBA super championship.

Well, there is a conflicting information about for which belt they will fight. Scene is stating that they will fight for Interim title but ESPN's schedule is stating this:Ryad Merhy vs. Arsen Goulamirian, 12 rounds, for vacant WBA "regular" cruiserweight title.
