Its a battle of the unbeaten Euro Cruiserweight prospects. Ryad Merhy is on a warpath across Europa bashing the living weasel crap out of tin cans like they owe him money, most of his opponents are there for the taking, so not much can be gleaned from these various demolition jobs, however... a little something caught my attention. Arsen Goulamirian who's a similar far less touted Cruiserweight on an equally destructive journeyman ravaging rampage, happens to share two opponents with Mr. Merhy. They both fought Latvian punching bag Arturs Kulikauskis, while Goulamirian UD'd him in 6, Merhy TKO'd him in 7, evidently this angered Goulamirian, so he rematched Kulikauskis and he one upped Merhy by KOing him in 3. The other shared opponents is Mitch Williams, who Merhy UD'd and Goulamirian TKO'd in 9 a mere two months later. So what's the deal, does Goulamirian have more devastating power than Merhy, or is Merhy doing the damage and Arsen is merely feasting on the carcass? Chin wise, they both could be packing iron, guys from the Ivory Coast and Armenia tend to have hard chins to crack. Power wise they're both a question mark, Goulamirian went the distance with Knyazev, an Usyk KO8 victim, and Merhy stopped Usyk KO3 victim Nsafoah TKO4, these are both largely diminished frm the version Oleksandr mauled. So it appears both of them might have overrated power. So on March 24th who do you guys think takes it? This content is protected
How dare you! He sucks compared to me. I can sustain my brilliance for 20 paragraphs, he's only got one or two in him.
Nah.. Looks like a poorman only At least this guy is to the point and not as long haul ass winded as our great mods.
Here's their performances against a shared opponent in Mitch Williams. The Merhy fight starts around 20 minutes in. This content is protected This content is protected
