I don't know who said that but Rosado clearly lost. Mosley had an easy night. Rosado was buzzed on several occasions. Rosado looked confused most of the fight.

Cool, again I’m not talking up Tank. I’m not a fan in the slightest. I’m saying that Haney is extremely fragile. I won’t be surprised if Kambosos stops him. You put Haney in the elite bracket, that’s what I disagree with. He has elite skills but he’s been blessed with Paulie punching power and Amir’s chin.

Surprise here is Mosley Jr. beating Rosado. Rosado is a wartorn fun veteran journeyman but that seemed a couple levels above Mosley. Odds are he is way over his head next fight as they should look to capitalize on this and take the biggest offer available.

well it's a form that sadly a one sided fight can have people wanting to believe rosado did well.
I'm not big on shane jr but I was surprised he had the skills to clearly out point rosado. I don't get what happened, I feel rosado felt he didnt have to try hard or train hard and tried to just full out go for it, waiting for counters he didn't get.

I don't care how fragile he is, Tank wouldn't be a favourite until he's proven his power against worthwhile opposition.

You’re not getting it. I’m happy to criticise Tank’s opposition, but he hits harder than Linares and JoJo. When Linares caught Lomachenko he went down and it looked like a balance a problem with his feet taken away. Then you look at the punch on Haney, he stayed on his feet and wobbled all around the ring. The way Haney reacted is the way a chinny fighter reacts to punches. Look at his eyes and body language when JoJo caught him with punches. He is very easily buzzed and he takes a long time to recover. Kambosos isn’t even a puncher and I think he will probably knock out Haney. Tank doesn’t need to prove his power to KO Haney, because you don’t need power to KO Haney. He’ll be knocked out very soon and he will be the new Amir Khan. You’re also talking as if Haney has a good record, when his record is less impressive than Tank’s.

You don't understand. Until Tank has been in with legitimate opposition we don't really know how hard he hits. And no one knows what you need to ko Haney since it hasn't happened yet.

Haney has fought at a higher level than Tank, that's not really debatable.

Actually it is. Haney and Tank both fought Gamboa. Tank did a better job. Haney's win over Linares, Abdullaev and Diaz are all good, but also quite comparable to and IMO overwhelmed by Tank's wins over Pedraza, Santa Cruz, Walsh, Cuellar and Cruz. By the way, I don't make it a habit of praising that moronic fugly little fidget very often. So this is a rarity, and I'm clearly not being biased.

But the separation beyond debate is that Haney has stepped up to fight Kambosos.

Tank has had his belt 5/6 years and not stepped up once

Sure, but he hasn't fought him yet has he? And who says he's going to win? I think we should wait to see what the results are in or if the match happens at all, before we start accrediting Haney with it. I mean, should Wilder get credit for signing to fight Povetkin?

I don't think he'll win. I think Kambosos beats him. But I think he deserves credit for stepping up and making the fight when so many young belt holders these days hide behind a paper strap without challenging themselves.

Wilder did get praised for signing to fight Povetkin if i recall correctly.

So do I, and he does deserve credit. But in terms of resume, if he loses to George, that means he goes on George's resume not the other way around. Losses count, but not in your favor. Sure, Tank won't have a name like George on his resume, but he also won't have a lost to drag it down either.

Yeah Wilder got credit, but not on his resume. He was going to fight on that higher level, but Sasha screwed it up, which somehow inexplicably also ended up being unfairly blamed on Wilder.

Absolutely it goes on Kambosos resume. But it still demonstrates that Haney has fought at a higher level.

Yeah I never understood how Wilder copped the blame for that one.

We're basically in agreement.... only I want to wait until after to give him credit for it.

It's the same thing that's driving them to ridicule Ryan Garcia for dominating an opponent for 12 rounds straight but not KOing him. Irrational toxic fanboy hate.

It just irks me when fighter who don't fight at the top level, but still somehow become "a side" so when a young buck chooses to step up instead it hide behind his paper belt it's something to celebrate imo.
