If hes already weighing 146, hopefully there wont be any issues about being weight drained come fight night.
It's not a bad thing to keep your weight lower than normal and getting used to the weight cut and rehydration clause that is coming, As long as it sensible and you can train, spar and do everything you're suppose to do. I actually applaud the young man for giving this way a go, he obviously wants to make these conditions put on him as meaningless and comfortable as possible.
Go on? Hes at a weight that is his fight day weight more than a month out. So no need for some hard weight loss camp. Clearly hes been in training already and has his weight under control.
so what? its the 10 lbs he still has to lose that is the problem. if its too much then it dont matter what he weighs right now. it dont make a difference. the problem is that it takes time for your body to absorb the water you start putting back into it after you get off the scale. ideally, you want to keep ingesting as much fluids as your body can absorb, so that your head replaces all the fluid in your cranium before fight time. that fluid is what cushions your brain and prevents it from slamming against the walls when you eat a jab. its also needed for efficient communication with your nervous system. the whole thing is about the 24 hrs between weigh in and fight. its not about what he weighs right now.
Not only all of what this guy said but if RyGa is this light this far out it may produce negative training results and result in an inferior opponent. I mean thats obv what Tank wanted anyway w the catchweight and rehydration clause. Wannabe gangster gone end up on qu.eer eye the way his tail tucked between his thighs
Already at 146? Jesus how was this guy ever fighting at 135. He probably weighed mid 150s before the fight was announced.
