Apparently I have a better knowledge than you. 10lbs in over a month? Theres guys who regularly drop 10+lbs in a couple of days and put it back on in a dat after weigh in. Not only would I say regularly, Id say its the norm. Theres guys who rehydrate 15+lbs these days.
Yeah...and? Ricky Hatton often weighed in the 170s before fights were announced. Most guys walk around 20-30lbs above their weight class. The majority of these guys weigh their weigh in weight for about 10 mins at the weigh in. Thats it. Floyd is the only guy outside of His, who actually fought near his weighing weight.
Garcia being at his ring weight this far out is a good sign. It means the dehydration clause shouldn't affect him. Dehydrating 10 lbs in this weight class is no problem at all so Ryan will have a month to train at his in ring weight then have an easy dehydration period at the end of camp.
Fighters come into camp at a healthy weight but cutting too much too soon for too long is what produces those "dead at the weight" performances
You're such a dumb tw.at. Thats not how catch weights or rehydration clauses work. God you dumb PBC shills are a fu.cking plague
I remember when Jeff Fenech would come in almost 10kg heavier after weigh in. He used to take these amino acids in a TV ad so I thought they would help me cut weight also. Little did I know about proper nutrition and timing of meals.
A 10lb weight cut is nothing really in this area. Especially given Garcias age. The main issue is how much he has cut and in what timescale to get to 146lb. If he has dropped weight quickly it will not benefit him come fight night. Truth be told, I hope he wins but don’t give him much of a shot. Tank will land and as soon as he does, fight over.
The problem comes when guys try dehydrating 15-20 lbs. Ryan clearing isn't trying to do that or he would be sitting at a higher weight right now.
