No I don’t care, and I don’t think you know what the word delusional means. Most fighters are probably on PEDs anyways.

Ryan Garcia only gets in the HoF with a ticket. He's all bark, no bite.

Some believe that fighters have earned the right to hold certain opinions by virtue of the fact that they're fighters and have earned that respect by putting their lives on the line and fighting in a ring, whereas, conversely, fans haven't earned that right because they've never stepped foot in a ring and put their life of the line. But I firmly believe that even if you are an actual fighter you immediately forfeit the right to any boxing related opinion if you've been schooled by Rolly. If he knocked you out that would be more forgivable because he can punch but being schooled by him?

I mean Garcia is certainly allowed his opinion as an excellent fighter with respect to being in the top 1% of the hardest sport, just as we are, who the vast majority of us aren’t anywhere near truly understanding what that takes. However he doesn’t have a world title yet and in his biggest win he was caught on PED’s and failed in his other big test, so he has a very long way to go to reach even the possibility of the hall of fame. Golovkin’s resume would look a lot better with the Alvarez 1 result going the right way, the second could’ve gone either way imo. He has some very good scalps and dominated weaker opposition with frightening ease. Probably victim of having his biggest fights far later than was fair because of promotional politics and being the leader of the who needs him club until his financial power grew enough. Garcia has had the opposite end of the stick in that regard and isn’t making the most of his opportunities. If he can’t beat Barrios who is a decent fighter but weak champion, he can probably forget about making the HOF. Oh yeah he got beat by Romero too. So he shouldn’t go on too much about Golovkin or he leaves himself open to criticism. There’s fighters who achieved much less in there so Golovkin is definitely a viable candidate, whether he did enough to be considered an ATG is another conversation.

I'm usually a fan of Sean's, but he's had some dreadful takes recently. This is one of them, and the other was him picking Paul to have a chance against Joshua. It's a good job he held Dana's feet to the fire about UFC fighter pay; he's definitely bought himself a few bad take passes with that one.

I'm still sour we didn't get Pirog vs GGG on HBO.
I can hear RJJ butchering both men's names now.
