But at least Munguia will fight anyone Goldenboy puts in front of him without having a mental breakdown. Now this post isn't at the best timing since Munguia just fought some random dude who never has fought outside of Africa and Munguia hasn't even fought the best 154, but at least he's not refusing to fight Duno type level of opponents. I also don't think Munguia would refuse to fight Charlo, Williams, Hurd, or Harrison, if Goldenboy forced it onto him.

I see nothing special about Ryan Garcia. He's marketable based on his looks and social media presence, but that's really about it.

He has some intangibles like speed and power at a young age.

Apparently Ryan and Goldenboy reconciled. If Ryan fights Duno, and follows a Teofimo/Haney/Vergil, type path where his opposition gets better I will start respecting the kid more even with his corny ass personality.

Probably yes, though not because he's so amazing, but because Munguia is so, well, limited...

I know this is a meaningless splitting of hairs... but, I always thought speed and power were considered 'tangible' aspects of boxing.

Wheras things like IQ, discipline, heart... ect... were intangibles.

Like I said... meaningless sidenote. Not even saying Im right lol... just was my impression.

I agree. And its not as much hyping Ryan, as much as it is that I dont really rate Mung much at all.

If we all just agreed with each other, it would a circlejerk where people are too scared to voice their opinions. So for me, intangibles would be speed, power, and heart. I think IQ can be learned, and discplined can be instilled in someone. But that's just my opinion on it.

Ah I see... so you see intangibles as traits that would be considered traits that cant be taught or changed much, but instead largely set at an inherited and intrinsic level.

    Makes sense. Thanks for explaining.

Not a fan of Garcia at all but he definitely has more potential. Munguia is just one of those big, tough, mountains that will always take a fight because he believes in his chin and power/strength. Garcia seems to be a prima donna, and it's too early into his career to be one.

Is it just me or does Ryan Garcia give Victor Ortiz vibes personality-wise? The guy is just super weird and corny. Maybe that's how all LA social media folk act like?
