He does. I think some people forget Ortiz was lauded for a quite a while as the next big Golden Boy thing as well. That makes sense.
I am more excited about Eddy Reynoso. Reynoso clearly has an eye for boxing and I am curious to see if he can teach Ryan something. There were some slight adjustments made in Ryan's last fight.
Intangible typically refers to things that are not of a physical nature. Things like size, speed, reach, strength, etc. are tangible. Things like ring IQ, heart, determination, toughness would all be considered intangibles.
Ah okay, gotcha. I haven't really heard the term used much in sports besides basketball, and the community I was in used it as abilities that can't be taught like natural athleticism.
I have no idea. He has good speed forsure and he's flashy. He reminds me of Broner in ways, cause he's flatfooted, but has flashy speed. Broner was faster than Garcia though, and probably tougher. Maybe Ryan will have a better work ethic though? He's a huge question mark, I honestly don't like the kids personality, he's really cringy and corny, but I think he'll grow out of it eventually. I can't imagine any grown man being a fan of a kid with this kind of personality.
Hmmm not sure about broner being faster tbh but Broner has a helluva chin. Maidana said he was pretty strong too. Garcia still has ways to go before that level though
out of the two I would agree that Garcia has more upside. Munguia is still the weight bully brawler from years ago. He hasn’t changed one bit. Size and a very well managed opponents has so far hidden his flaws.
From ESPN Garcia extended his deal with GBP another 4-5 years on a already existing contract that had 2 years left on it. Also according to the article he is signed to fight Duno on the Kovalev vs Alvarez undercard as chief support.
