Ryan Garcia retires today

It's all a matter of timing. If he'd been tested earlier the chances are a larger amount would have been present. You can't be half pregnant. He is a drug cheat.

 

People keep stating amounts etc...but he doesn't pass the eye test. He looks like he's on gear.

And it's not just the difference of moving up in weight or weighing more. Anyone who knows what someone starts to look like or looks like on gear can clearly see he's on.

I speculated that he may have been taking oral test, and that he didn't get popped for that, because it would be much harder to detect. But the oral test could have been contaminated with Ostarine if obtained from an underground lab.

There is a massive difference in his body from the fight before, and it's not from making a lighter weight.

The deeper/husky voice gave it away. Haney put it on him about his voice at a press conference and you can see Garica **** himself, then say he's been smoking too much weed. And that was going on weeks before the fight.

 

Question, could Ryan as well as other boxers who are suspend, do exhibition matches while still suspended?

 

I think the fight was declared a non contest.

That said Im not defending him but he is not the first nor will be the last...heck Rocky 4 in 1095 tried telling us this was happening.

And God knows how many have not been caught.

 

That's trying to defending him.

The rules are simple enough and if you get caught breaking them you get punished.

 

He's saying imagine all the people who haven't been caught. Garcia got caught. Drug cheats are so prevalent yet only get caught in the moment, they pass several tests before

 

All the more reason to penalize people when they do get caught.

The 'but everybody does it' stance only encourages more to cheat.

 

A cheat's a cheat. i wasnt trying to defend him.

But this has been going on far longer than we think.

Although, some might say, with some validity, that it isnt really cheating when you know the other guy is doing the same.

But the key word on the above sentence would be when....and I dont think anyone really knows that the other guy or guys are cheating because why would the other guy tell them "hey Im gonna cheat against you?"

 

Retirements are nothing more than promotions for fighters today. How many fighters have we heard say they are retiring only for them to announce their next fight a couple months later........ Shakur Stevenson, Tyson Fury, etc....

Ryan literally has accomplished nothing in the sport beyond being a clown on the biggest stage and then gets caught cheating..... Nothing he does is big news to me.
