Putting on 25 pounds at such a low weight of 140 is quite suspect. Maidana and Canelo were about that big against Mayweather at welter. At 135 would be even more suspect if he did it, which he definitely did base on his size

The magic undetectable drugs are what they've always been until they finally get caught. They're the same ones Garcia was using until he got caught. They're the same ones the next person to get caught is currently using.

 

Are we saying Haney isn't also roided out of his mind, or is he just able to avoid being caught?

It just seems funny to me how the perception is almost every top fighter is on something, yet only some get found out.
I mean, it's not like corruption doesn't run through boxing and money is all that matters.
If certain people want certain fighters to remain active, and therefore lucrative, is it really so outlandish to think they'll ignore test results or suppress them?

How, exactly, do the doping agencies even keep up with new stuff that is being developed to remain hidden in current tests?
Is it a doping arms race with one group of scientists trying to outdo the other?

I'm not saying Haney is even one of those select fighters, I'm just saying it seems an open secret there are ways around inconveniences like failed drug tests if the right people are behind you, and that it's not stretching credulity to suggest there are some fighters using stuff that doesn't even show up in tests yet and may not for years.

You are quite right that they are all undetectable untill they aren't, and it is often just a matter of time.

The stuff that is potentially being used today might take another year or so to detect in a test...by which time they'll have moved over to something else that will, again, be undetectable until it isn't.

 

Hmm if Haney was on some **** I’m sure Ryan would be running with that narrative.
