If corruption were involved in Garcia vs Haney, it is Garcia who would be protected because he is by far the greater financial attraction compared to Haney. This point is not debatable. Even if one were to entertain your fact-free rants -- which to be clear, no one should -- it would have to be in respect of the *marketplace* fighter benefiting from the corruption.

 

So why are you offering it up randomly in a thread about Garcia pissing hot? This thread is about Garcia, not Haney.

I think this is the same thing Amir khan got caught with and he got a two year ban, so can probably expect the same for Ryan Garcia. He went from the face of boxing to nothing.

 

He does have a point tbf. Why do almost all results come out after every bout when the whole point of it is to “protect fighters”.

 

What I fail to understand though, why didn’t they try to stop the fight from happening if they already knew about this before the fight took place. And why has it taken so long for it to come out. That’s the only thing where I’m thinking hmm are they trying to set Ryan up because of his political views and other views he holds

*If true*, Garcia will survive this commercially but it certainly will damage his reputation among dedicated boxing fans.
