    He could've chosen the EASY ROUTE if he wanted to and fought Santa Cruz & Gamboa, but he's fighting a top lightweight next!

    Let’s all applaud him for doing the minimum all boxers should already be doing, fighting non Gobshite competition.

    I think we should all wait to drink the kool aid until AFTER the fight. You know, in case he gets knocked out cause he keeps his chin the air relying on his reflexes.

    He definitely has the most potential with his rabid social media fan base.
    He the closest thing to a youtuber with real boxing skill.

    Ryan could follow the steps of Oscar De La Hoya. He has a devastating left hook like Oscar, similar styles and willingness to fight anybody, a large fanbase, and probably gays and women like him for his looks. Could be the next Mexican superstar. Only negative is his primadonna demands/expectations for money.

    Good luck getting inside on him now though that's what Fonseca and Duno's game plan was and they didn't make it out of the first round. Garcias getting better and better with the Reynoso's every fight he fixes a hole in his game. I think Campbell is a very tough match for Ryan just due to his size alone not to mention his experience at the world level. This fight will really let us know if Ryan can compete with the top dogs at 135.

    Ryan won't be fighting undersized guys his whole career you know. He got battered against Carlos Morales who was a similar height. He even did a chicken dance from a jab in that fight.

    Oscar knew how to tuck his chin at least somewhat. It will be interesting to see if Garcia can take a shot from Luke well.

    Sort of sad that our standards have fallen so much. When we get excited about exhibition fights, youtubers, and boxers doing what they simply should be, we're in trouble. :lol:

    A win over Luke Campbel would put Ryan in the driver's seat as the A side against everyone in the lightweight division (save for the undisputed champ Teofimo Lopez).

    It’s true what other posters noted in the fact that this opponent alone is better than any of Haneys and tanks opponents.
