Oscar won’t put him in the same state as Loma.

I'm referring to the question of this thread.

Well, he'll be ready once he is crowned as champion.

No he won't. Lomachenko is possibly the #1 P4P fighter in boxing. Ryan Garcia is only a 20 year old kid.

Maybe by the time he hits his prime he'll have a decent chance if any.

Fighter usually enters his prime around 23 or even 25.

The kid is still a prospect, be patient.

You guys are putting him in potentially with Loma, he hasn't even proven he can take care of a simply sturdy journeyman...........

Um, did you not watch any of Ortiz's fights after that?
You know, when he moved up to 147 and beat Berto for the WBC belt? Or when he fought Floyd for a couple of million dollars?

    You're trolling right?

Teofimo isn't hesitating to do what?

Lopez is a good prospect who also has to work and develop certain things in his game. Lopez may or may not be more developed than Ryan but neither Garcia or Lopez are ready Lomachenko or elite fighter, not sure who you're trying to kid here.

Nope, not trolling. Lopez has said he wants Loma. If a fighter feels he is ready it doesn't matter what his age is. Some people know when they are ready, or at least think so. I give Lopez big props for having the cajones to say let's do it.

Because of the mismanagement in ortiz career they have brought canelo along so slow and continue to.

You think Teofimo is fighting Lomachenko soon? Do you think he's ready?

Personally I don't think he's ready. I actually think Lomachenko would beat him like a piñata. Teofimo has poor defense, his guard is low, and he lacks world level experience. If I'm Lopez' advisor or manager I would not advise him to fight Lomachenko any time soon. I'd wait one, two, maybe three years before he steps up against an elite P4P level fighter.

A lot of times, very young but ambitious fighters with a lot of self belief and who are impulsive start calling out fighters for different reasons. Just look at Jaime Munguia, young champion calling out Golovkin, but we all know Golovki would wreck him.

In other wordsm I don't get very excited when certain fighters call out other fighters, especially a fighter like Teofimo calling out Lomachenko, I think its almost foolish.

The truth is, both Teofimo and Ryan are young prospects, and if their management team wants what is best for them they will advise accordingly and bring them up the right way.

He won't be ready until Loma is 38.
