This is awful match-making imo. Catterall is a bad guy to look good against and is incredibly negative, he barely ever takes a step forward and Ryan lacks the craft or the aggression to punish Catterall for how lazy he is. This would just be Ryan chasing and Catterall popping him with a jab every thirty seconds. I don't even think Ryan would get much credit even if he did beat Catterall. I think Ryan has better chances against Barrios or Curiel than he does against Catterall tbh and I think both would be a way more watchable fights.

The reason Catterall was chosen for this fight is he has 13 ko's in 33 fights . They don't want Garcia's chin tested , it won't be .Garcia by mid fight KO

This is an interesting one. If you miss Jack will make you pay. At the same time he doesn’t have Rollie type power where Ryan was terrified of getting hit.

Catteral will outbox him and counter him all night long in a boring, low volume fight, waiting for ages at a time before 2 punches get thrown.

This will be a snooze fest. Ryan isn’t that explosive hungry fighter anymore. He now just wait for that counter left. Catterall is a low output counter puncher. So you have two guy that looks to counter. Get ready for 10 punches a rnd.

Ryan from Haney fight? Ryan smacks the **** out of Catterall.
Ryan from the Romero fight? Catterall boxes his ears off, and wins a wide decision.

I don't see how Garcia wins this. I could see Catterall getting a KO though, ironically. Garcia leaves his chin up in the air and is susceptible to counters. I could see him rushing into something and getting put down by a well placed counter. It isn't the easiest thing in the world to drop Garcia, and he might quit in similar fashion to the Davis fight if he keeps walking into shots. I know Catterall is a UD merchant, but he does seem to have respectable power.

Don't care. I've sworn off Catterall fights.
    Horrible style of non-fighting.

Good match up but won't be a good fight. Very much undercard and a fight in the background worthy.

Did I see somewhere AJ would fight a top 15 guy next? Really should be Fury but guessing maybe Kabayel, Hrgovic, Zhang? All would be fun fights.
