Loma struggled to get past the lead hand because he is not a lightweight and he has much shorter arms than all these guys. Garcia is the same size as Campbell and doesn't have to get past the lead hand to connect.

I'm just saying that I had Campbell winning 2 rounds against Lomachenko. I don't see it as a massive accomplishment. Yes, he shared the ring with him.

Loma was struggling until he hurt Cambell in the 5th.

Luke Cambell lost 9-10 rounds to Lomachenko. He was competitive with Linares but clearly lost. His best win was either Darlys Perez or avenging Yvan Mendy.

This fight is not above Garcia's head. If Ryan Garcia can't pick up this win then he's probably John Molina level.

He lost 2 rounds. I guess that may constitute as struggling for a guy who is fighting out of his weight class.

Okay. So Campbell took 2 rounds off Lomachenko. Let him get in the ring with Ryan Garcia. I'll put my money on Ryan.

Well, officially Campbell lost to Linares because of the KD. It´s what cost him that night.
But while he did give Loma a good fight, he lost the majority of the rounds.

However, Garcia can´t just do what he usually does. That is bait the opponent to throw so he can counter with that left hook. He will have to do more to beat someone like Campbell.

Lets not forget Ryan is a lot bigger than Loma so it will be easier for him to get past Luke's jab

He`ll take more than two rounds off Garcia because Loma is far more skilled than Garcia.

The jab is the best way to exploit your reach because it`s the longest punch you can throw, Garcia`s jab isn`t as good as Loma`s or used as consistently, every time his lead hand is inactive Cambell`s will be feinting and jabbing, Garcia prefers to wait and counter with the hook, which is an inside punch and not as long as a jab, Garcia has no idea how to use his reach.

Oh, absolutely. I'm just saying that this has to be the next step in the progression for Ryan Garcia. He'll be 22 with over 4yrs as a pro and is in the top 5 in the rankings. This is the fight he has to make...and win.

If he's just a counter check hooker then he's going down.

I just hate the people saying this fight is too dangerous and he should keep fighting tomato cans.

    100% agree.
My issue with this fight would be that Garcia is going from 0 to a 100 here. Prospects should be brought up a bit more gradually.

Imo, Ryan has plenty of talent. A loss here likely wont mean much. Probably would be good for him(that being if he still relies only on the check hook).

This fight will have been too soon, only Ryan ends up taking a beating. Loosing a competitive fight is completely fine.
