Garcia has a decent chance against current Salido, if he catches him clean a couple of times he might beat him. Unless Lawrence Cole is the ref, then the youngster gets wrecked and maybe even ruined.
i think salidos body has finally had enough. he doesnt react to punches as well as he used to. garcias size and hands speed will trouble salido and probabaly gets stopped.
Unless Garcia wrecks him in the opening rounds, i dont see it ending well for the young prospect. Vargas, although he got destroyed, had a relatively easy time landing that right hand.
If this were Salido from even 2 years ago I'd say for certain that Garcia isn't anywhere near ready for him. The deterioration he showed in his last fight, though, is worrying. He was never a defensive whiz, nor did he really ever have even a reliably sturdy chin to fall back on (and it got progressively worse over the years; it was in 2011 when lousy Weng Haya dribbled him off the canvas like a basketball!), just his sheer grit/recuperative capabilities, will & heavy-handedness, but now he just gets hit with & wrecked by everything his opponents throw. So if you have a chin and even moderate pop you now probably stand a chance of beating Salido in the same exact type of war of attrition that used to be his bread & butter. That said, if Kingry fails to get rid of him early, it will bite him in the ass when he gets dragged behind the woodshed.
