Oscar at 22 would have knocked out Ryan early. He was just flat out on another level

That DLH stops every top current 135 fighter right now, too big, strong and fast.

De La Hoya blasts him out early. Taller, 3 inch reach advantage, super fast, hits harder, far, far better foot work, better jab, it's not even close.

22 y.o Canelo and DLH both were better than this 22 y.o Ryangking.
He is young and might improve of course.

unfair comparison. the level of instruction and fight experience each had at 22 is very different. oscars pedigree was on another level. gold medalist and groomed to be the face of boxing even before turning pro. people knew how good oscar was way before turning 22.
garcia is on a crash course in high level boxing. there are a lot of things he will be seeing and experiencing for the first time. he may look more vulnerable because of it. I doubt he will ever be as good as peak oscar, but he has the tools, and apparently the work ethic, to get a lot further than where hes at now.

Prime Oscar was better looking than Garcia. Phony and corny as hell but he was definitely better looking and a great fighter with an even greater resume.

Garcia's good looking too albeit he's no Kessler, Gvozdyk or Oscar. But there's definitely been some interbreeding with ostriches and geeky teenagers in his family somewhere along the way, whereas Oscar has zero ostrich DNA and he was all man looking in his prime

Oscar had an iron chin right from the start, meanwhile Ryan flinches everytime someone lands a power punch. This isn't going past 8 rounds.

I’m not a Ryan hater but have you actually watched videos of prime Oscar? I can’t stand modern day Oscar but can’t deny his talent in the ring. He was a legit fighter and wouod not lose a round against Ryan Garcia. Oscar would toy with him and knock his ass out. Ryan’s family wouod have their eyes closed during the fight because he would get the beating of his life.
