I don't blame him, it wouldn't be wise to break training camp to meet up with Turki to negotiate a future fight when you're scheduled to fight someone else in a few days...

Yep now that Haney has left 135 and doesn't have an enormous size advantage over his opponents guys like Ramirez have a good shot at getting to that glass jaw.

In all fairness, Pitbull lost his last fight and didn't look that good.

Not just the chin. Jose Ramirez is a big guy, and Haney would be at a reach and height disadvantage here. Haney relies on distance management, which was a lot easier to do vs smaller guys. Ryan Garcia managed to close that distance better than most of Haney´s opponents, and clearly caught him by surprise in the opening round.

Haney always has a reach advantage. I am very, very curious to see how he deals with Ramirez. Possible upset IMO.

His handlers would meet with Turki. You think Pitbull is negotiating anything?

Turki has made it clear that he likes to negotiate with fighters personally...

Not all fighters have the gift of haggling. In fact, I would say a good percentage of fighters aren't very gifted in the numbers department.

You're absolutely correct!, Tszyu flat out stated in an article that the reason Turki had issues with him was because he wouldn't meet alone with Turki. Tszyu made it clear that he was a boxer and he has a team that handles the logistics end of things. Turki felt insulted and made it known that he would no longer work with Tszyu.

Being honest, I’m rooting for the upset in all 3 fights so that the sport can move past these 3 divas.

They're really pushing city of the wolves after they destroyed the massive hype behind the game by announcing Ronaldo and some random dj.

There was a cotw trailer for eubank jr vs benn as well. Saudi money I guess.

    Whatever, I'll watch the fight.

Awesome card and awesome build up. Haney/Garcia II later in the year, winner faces Lopez in 2026.
