You can see the difference in the change of division.. Teo did badly when he went up to ls 140 and Rolly too.. I don't know how Garcia would do because I haven't fought with a natural 140 until now.. I don't know who wins, I guess Garcia But I'm not sure
Ryan Garcia beats Rolly any time and any weight. "Levels to this" as they say. Ryan has a couple hundred amateur fights and got mentored by ODLH, Eddie Reynoso, and Joe Goosen. Rolly is some kid they pulled off the street in Las Vegas. He was supposed to be a journeyman but he had natural pop so he got to come up the other way. He's overachieved if anything.
Ok so the play is clear Ryan fights Rolly for the 140 Belt Tank rematches Pitbull Cruz Then ducks smoke with Hanie & Shakur to rematch Ryan at 140lb for the fresh strap after he “beats” Rolly This is Al’s Master play to milk the game & maximize profits. Genius but pisses me off.
Can Rolly hurt Ryan though. Will be interesting to see victims of Tank get it on. I can imagine many would fancy their chances of taking the title of ROLLY.
This is the reason the fight was stolen from Barroso last night, to set up Romero with a belt so Garcia can beat him which won't be difficult.
Garcia should win this cause Romero’s power is vastly overrated and he has average speed. A grandfather was beating his ass until PBC called in the stoppage.
Haney has to get past Loma Which he should but…No guarantee, If he does though I don’t know if he can keep making the weight he looks terrible at the weigh ins these days. Might have to move up man. We see how he looks at this weigh in in the biggest challenge he has faced yet. either way Shakur vs Haney or Loma would be dope… & we will likely get them in house fights are easy to make.
You’re right, even though Haney should win I would love to see Loma win. But if we get all these fights @140, Haney vs Shakur, Ryan rematches Tank after he ko’s Rolly and then the winner of those matches fight each other we have a few really great/fun fights! If it only was that easy…
I hope so But doubt it Then again I doubted Tank vs Ryan would happen - just goes to show you it ultimately up to the fighters to make it happen- promoters be damned.
