Could be a reason he pulled out of the fight. Maybe wasn't confident he could beat tests.

He’s been boxing basically his whole life. Also that “Not enough fights” is bs. Boxers with a small amount of fights have had brain problems. I hope I’m wrong, but it sounds more serious than him just being a *****

And that is not cool. It pisses me off because I used to suffer from clinical depression. There’s a difference between situational depression as in you have a shitty job or girlfriend so you’re depressed, to having an actual wiring problem. Not saying Ryan Garcia is playing it up, just your post made me think of how some people are milking it these days.

Are you saying because its not clinical depression and just situational it shouldnt be a point of concern? You demean "having a shitty job" which can be categorized as an existential crisis where you can feel trapped for how many ever years, is that not a worthy enough problem? Losing a gf or family member, a constant part of your life that is part of who you are, is that not a valid enough reason for one to hit rock bottom and question if one still wants to live? Celebrities are also people, some of them are so caught up with all the fame and all the added expectations that they too can crumble.

I get that its being used as an "excuse" nowadays, but it should be approached with a presumption that it is true or valid. Its best not to speak on someone's mental health when we dont know exactly what is going on between his ears. We dont know what goes on behind the scenes. Its best not to judge and just let them deal with their mental health issues. If him talking about it is whats helping him get back, who the heck are we to criticize him for it. It may be weak for us, but it may be a source of strength for him, for him to get back to boxing.

If he is indeed suffering from mental issues than he should not be boxing at all, social media destroys peoples brains too.
