Could happen but i see campbell going the distance in a close fight.

 

I actually think Garcia or Campbell could weigh in at 135 and still beat a 147 Conor Benn pretty easily because LEVELZ.

I hope he does. Ryan is an exciting and talented young fighter. He will have a speed advantage but campbell is tough and he is southpaw and a good boxer. I’m excited about this fight. Like both guys but rooting for Garcia. If he loses, the cherry pickers will have an excuse to not fight him and it will be bad for boxing. Guys need to take these challenges not fight bums and smaller guys like Tank is doing.

 

How would fighting a YouTuber in his next fight be good for the sport? A world level boxering fighting a Youtuber with a couple of fights under his belt would be one of the the biggest cherry picks of all time.

 

Bad. If he fought a YouTuber or an MMA guy at this stage, I would call him out. Retired guys like Floyd or old guys like Manny have earned the right. Ryan needs to fight top guys. Pro fighters not sideshow acts. I hate these distractions. Probably just talk but if it happens, fans need to express their displeasure. Fans are idiots and will probably like it. That’s another story.

 

Yeah, did not had been stopped. He went full distance vs Linares and Loma. Campbell does have notable ammy achiemvents and is pretty large for his weight class.

Campbell currently is ranked approx between 5 and 10 th, depending from ranking system and day ( some rankings like boxrec changes frequently. )
& had 16 wins via stoppages in pros.
Doesn't looks bummy, ok not TOP5. Still relatively good because after lost to Linares and Loma, still remained in boxrec TOP10.

 

i wasn’t talking about Campbell. He’s a solid opponent and a huge step for Garcia. Not bunny at all, quite the opposite.

 

I'm curious how people think Ryan Garcia is gonna run over Campbell? Luke has 3 losses, 1 to a fomer p4p king, 1 to one of the most fluid offenses at the weight and then a 3rd that he avenged. Campbell is far beyond anybody Garcia has faced, and he has wins over some guys I think would give Garcia legit problems.

 

Ryan's got one thing going for him... a 118-110 scorecard already filled out for the next 3 opponents.
