Could of gone either way it was a great fight both rocked each other a few times. Its on again in 20mins.
ddin't see it, didn't know it was happening, but would have tipped Moore to win comfortably, would love to see it.
Damn - haven't seen this fight yet. I have always had Rhodes down as the perennial underachiever, and I had Moore down as one of the best fighters in the uk. I will have to see the fight to comment further, but congrats to RR, and a message of support for Moore - I hope that Jamie can come back from this and get a long overdue title shot. Respect to both men.
Absolutely. Round 7 was fantastic, it looked almost as if Moore was going to get Rhodes out of there even after being badly hurt by that counter right.
Strange fight in a way. It was a good fight, especially after the first few rounds, but even at the time of stoppage I had Moore 4 or 5 up. He looked very comfortable for the majority of the fight, then he just seemed to lose energy. He got caught with a great shot, don't think he saw it, but even then he got up and seemed recovered, dominated the rest of the round (would of only been a 10-9 despite the knockdown), but then he got careless and got himself caught again. Great for Rhodes, potentially could get a title shot.
Rhodes is like 95% of British fighters, he'll clean up at domestic level but if he moves up into world class, he'll get destroyed. Congratulations to him for tonight's showing though, it was brave and willful indeed.
Depends who they match him with. He could be competitive but I doubt he'll win. Deserves a go anyway, he's never been beaten at this weight, he was never a middleweight in a million years. His footwork is pretty shocking these days, he's pretty much just a banger, an a good counterpuncher.
Anyone who is struggling with a Jamie Moore does not belong at world level. I'm perhaps being a little harsh on my own countrymen, but this has proven to be the reality of the last 10 years and longer. With the rare exceptions, Britain just does not produce fighters good enough to cut it at world level. Rhodes may as well go for it, he has nothing to lose, but do I give him any chance against a Martinez or Santos? Hell no.
:rofl I've read some **** on this forum, but this drivel just about takes the biscuit. What planet are you from, you imbecile? God bless.
