He was never going to be great anyway, but did anyone else wonder why he was put in with Toney ? Man team cannon folded fast, Paco Nolan looked good against Lou Saverease, but booker (legal problems) and Rubin Williams tanked
well booker was unknown at the time and a win against toney would make him known and boost his ranking. and also toney was coming off an injury and wanted to get back into the heavyweight picture since the holyfield fight.
Not a smart fight at all if they had planned into turning him into a title contender...probably just wanted to cash him out?
